alcohol withdrawals. they musta cut her off this morning..no worries
Have you seen it in person? I remember the first time I witnessed it first hand. Went to help a friend move some stuff on a Saturday morning - his apartment was upstairs of a small town bar, and he asked me to wait in the bar for him while he made sure the missus was 'presentable'. Anyway, it was a few minutes before opening, and a guy stumbles in, sits at the bar - shaking like a leaf, orders a beer, and the bartender says "You know the rules "Joe", no drinks before opening time". Right after opening time, the bartender pours a beer and sets it in front of "Joe", who proceeds to pick it up with two hands and drink it all down, shaking the whole time. I was amazed he manged to not spill it all. A minute later, the same thing with the second one. About 20 minutes later as I'm walking through the bar with my friend on the way out, "Joe" is holding a beer in one hand, steady as ever, and apparently normal. That was an eye opener for me.
pathetic huh
Certainly something to be said for DJT's sobriety.
Pathetic and sad at the same time.
Nancy, on the other hand, is evil. If she is suffering, CNN should be broadcasting it live for all her supporters to see.
Not sure it is true, but I heard an A&D counselor say one time that alcoholism is the only addiction where the withdrawal can kill you.
Apparently it is. I had heard the same thing, so I thought I would look it up.
Pretty good article on it here:

And now all the spies on my PC think I have a problem...
Damn. I don't think I ever saw that outside of Leaving Law Vegas.
Worked for Safeway as a youngster. In Texas, not able to sell beer until after 12PM on Sunday. Like clockwork this customer would come in Sunday at 8AM and buy a bottle of aqua velva. At 12PM sharp he was in buying a case of beer.
I've got a golf buddy that can't play for shit if he isn't drinking, then when he gets the sauce he is lights out for about 6 or 8 holes, then right back to shit after about 8 or 10 beers.
Alcohol is a performance enhancing drug. At the right dosage it calms nerves without impairing performance. There was a scandal in a trapshooting league that I used to be a part of, because one member was caught partaking before rounds. Not nearly enough to be impaired of course, but still you shouldn't mix alcohol and shotguns around crowds of spectators. And it gave him an unfair advantage.
