Stuff moved last week looked more like artifacts (Lincoln's bust head), several boxes looking like the shape of maybe framed art, clear tubs of newspapers, but did not see personal items in the mix. Didn't Trump tell his staff last month to stop packing?

I dont know about "stop packing" specificaly, but absolutely 1000% there was an email that was sent out to WH Staff pertaining to standard transition & wind-down procedures.

The very next day, another email was sent out telling everyone to "disregard the prior day's email & further instructions will follow soon."

Hmmmm........
