Way too many kids are not related to the people bringing them over the border. Thus we must hold all these people until they are sorted out. The "cages" are temporary, the children are moved to other facilities.
And also, he is building a wall to stop them from coming here to begin with. If we stop them from crossing, it would eliminate the need for these holding cells. Also, many of those kids are coming here for child sex trafficking- they need to be separated from the adults they're with; they aren't always their parents.

Folks in the conservative camp just want to be left alone by government, have free markets, individual sovereignty, small government, religious freedom, freedom of speech, and little to no taxation. Basically freedom. If this stuff aligns more with your principles then I don't know why you'd ever support a Democrat.
Let the record show I do not support the Democrat ticket. I have a laundry list of issues with them and while I have been a critic of Trump, I am no friend of the Democrats and their extreme agenda. I would most closely align myself with Libertarians and am in the mindset of small government, individual rights, and limiting taxation. Appreciate you taking the time to respond.
