Was that supposed to answer my questions? Let's try this--- does the FBI even have the authority to vett members of the NG? How do we know this report is true?
"Now, the Defense Department, assisted by the FBI, will conduct special vetting for National Guard personnel in Washington, who are expected to number up to 25,000 for the inauguration on Wednesday, said acting defense secretary Christopher C. Miller.
“While we have no intelligence indicating an insider threat, we are leaving no stone unturned in securing the capital,” Miller said in a statement. While law enforcement vetting typically occurs before major security events, he added, “in this case the scope of military participation is unique.”
That's a hell of a thing that the new Commander In Chief doesn't trust his own military. That isn't a good sign for the future.
Of course Biden won't be the C.I.C. but still that is really bad optics. Won't be surprised if there are thousands of people leaving the military as soon as their contracts are up if Biden gets in because why would they go fight in wars he orders if he is telling them he doesn't trust them?
Who they vote for is neither here nor there, they swore their Oath to the Constitution and even a Prez they hate they will follow if he is their duly elected C.I.C.
They swear to uphold the Constitution and if their orders violate that they are theoretically empowered to disobey. In reality though they are drilled to accept orders without question, so it would be a struggle normally... In present circumstances, however I would think it's become quite obvious that Biden is run by the CCP.

He answered you.
Depends on the authority and power structure. If their boss says so, then it shall be.
FBI can always try to find ways around this through appeals to greater authority.
Since we don't know all the inner workings or politics behinds the scenes right now the answer is "we only know what they want us to know".
