What does this do?
If you have kept up at all with the Dominion scandal and the international scale of the fraudulent Nov. 3 election, this EO might make more sense. I'll try to explain in few words as the pieces of what have been going on are starting to come together.
Basically, the Swamp, in conjunction with foreign governments has been selling out our elections via what is known as IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service). https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/overview/what-is-iaas/
The Swamp, after receiving MASSIVE foreign donations (illegally laundered through various international "non-profit" orgs ie. Clinton Foundation, McCain Institute) funnels dark money into corrupt states to then set up these IaaS voting machines. The data (election and voter data) is then secretly funnelled into international servers through the cloud where it is analyzed, altered, and then transferred back. Think about how I can make a google doc, upload it to the cloud and give you permission to access it, you can then log into the same google doc from anywhere in the world and make alterations.
Long story short, to answer your question: ALL United States IaaS providers must now comply with section 1 of this newly issued EO, and get fucked by the swinging dick of national security.
I mean, the EO explains it pretty well, but I'll try to expand on it.
Infastructure as a Service, IaaS, is the process of using high speed internet to run all of your business operations on equipment that your company does not own. This allows you to trim back your IT department and save space in your building by not requiring you to have a dedicated server room, which can cost a LOT in utilities depending on your operation. It "outsources" your hardware. A lot of foreign companies run these services, because they can get their labor far cheaper and it means they can offer a better price, enticing companies to use that service rather than take the expensive route of keeping equipment in house. Its far less secure as you're basically trusting a bunch of sub-minimum wage people in India or China or the Koreas with your entire company and all of your trade secrets.
