It HAS to be someone who immediately garners respect and attention. Someone that the normie masses will actually hear out, despite what they’re hearing breaking their brains and their hearts.
I don’t think Pompeo, or anyone else in government carries this kind of respect.
I think there needs to be some rather large shock value with respect to who the messenger is. Otherwise I can see people too easily switching into denial and switching off their ears.

But most of the normies I know across the world are pretty skeptical is the US military. I respect your opinion but I just can’t see that going over well. They need a better, well known, and captivating spokesperson.
any spokesperson would be polarizing. I dont think there is a soul that both sides respect. Must be an unknown IMO. The militsry will declare martial law then feed the public info as to why over several days.
