I don't know why Q folks never understood that God isn't merciful, he takes you down the hardest path to strengthen you, at no point in history did anyone have a major victory out of no where, this isn't how God works. America is drenched in sin why would he give you a free pass, enjoy the ride.
Had an experience in my life about 7-10 years ago that tried my faith similar to this. I ended up stronger & on top of the chaos many believed would destory me & tear everything apart.
In the end, God proved he was with me & provided that calm during the storm. I ended up with the most valuable thing a man can have in this life, while the others lost it all.
I have that same calm. This time I get prompted to pray more & protect my family/prepare my home more than ever. No idea why, but it could be tied to the need of many who didn't see this coming & will need shelter & /or faith during the storm.
Who knows why I am so calm, but I know that the Lord has work for myself and many others who are willing to step where he asks & his glory is what will be shown as a result.
