The joker isn’t used in Euchre. The Jack of any suite is the Trump card.

CORRECTION: I had to research this. My husbands family have played Euchre for years. I’m a transplant to the game. They do not use the Joker card. It looks like though it is used in the British version of Euchre. Damn this is why I like this movement! Makes you check facts!

Have played euchre with two jokers,(the nines are removed). Big joker was largest Trump, the little joker was second highest Trump. Version is played a lot in Canada.
