Others have it figured out. Q promised our families would be safe, the only promise from the drops as I understand, and that's held true. All the evidence is on these boards, but it only makes sense once your mind is ready; at least that's how it worked for me.
My recommendation: watch the 1973 movie "The Sting." Imagine yourself to be a side character in the movie. Ask yourself why they had to build an entire false betting hall, and then you know why the inauguration was faked. But either way the curtain will be pulled back soon and then it'll all be revealed. In the meantime, if it takes too long it's totally worth it, if the alternative meant risking the loss. Sorry to be cryptic, but I can't explain it any other way.
