If global tyrants had established a stranglehold on planetary administration, and some nation rose up to break free of that, succeeded, and lost later... how do you suppose the global tyrants would treat them and their memories? Would they be honest about them in the history books, or would they insult and degrade them endlessly? Would they be accused of an act of extreme evil, and would they outlaw any research that contradicts that claim? Would they make the counter-claim severely damaging to your social status? I think they would.

Stop getting hung up on labels. We are facing the grandchildren of the tyrants of Weimar. Adolf rose up to oppose tyranny, not just at home but globally. He was the most popular world leader at the time by far; do you think the whole of the German people would fail to recognize an evil heart? Does that sound like any Germans that you've met? The ones I've met have been compassionate and empathetic to a fault, does that sound like the Germans you've met?
