One of the HUSKRs at least is the NE national guard's plane, I think they are picking them up and bringing them home
See that, too. They all came from NE and stopped briefly in DC, I'm guessing a pickup or a drop-off. Weird that they would run all of these planes together
K35r's aren't necessarily tankers...
In the 60's 4 K35's were converted Rivet Stand (Later Rivet Quick) configuration for reconnaissance and evaluation of above ground nuclear test and renamed KC35R, something similar could definitively be at play here, a special purpose conversion for some other use...
