This is an old forum post and is talking about receiving SMS. This only applies to outgoing SMS and is a change they made in just the last week, around the same time all the Android and iPhone owners got system updates that disable the EAS.
It's a messaging app that uses strong cryptography to prevent getting wiretapped by AT&T or anyone else. It's also made so easy that anyone can use it.

Download the Signal App and add a VPN. My MAGA group has been using it from a couple days before the 6th and we are loving it.
This is the way to go
Can you explain in more detail, Signal app?

Thank you! I’ll check it out.
Endorsed by Jack Dorsey.
True. Jack Dorsey is a shit person and a traitor. But if he endorsed Chocolate Ice Cream, that wouldn't stop me from eating it.
The technology is open source and audited by independent 3rd parties. It's legit.
Yup. They've been doing this for a while, and I thought it was just me!
When it happens to me, on my side it looks like my message sent, but the recipients confirms with me they never received it.
^ This is exactly what happens
I won’t bother. I already know why they consider it spam.
So I actually tested this ATT to ATT and the link wen rgb through. However, sending the link from ATT to Tmobile resulted in a block.
I think its being blocked by the recipients carrier.
I think you might be right, I tested it with two people bit they might both have the same carrier.
It's blocked by Telus in Canada as well
I have att and I just texted it greatawakening.win and patriots.win to a friend. Both went through
Did you text just those words, or did you text an actual link? Their DNSBL for "spam" applies only to links.
I personally texted a link to a friend to ga.w about a week ago and it went through. I have ATT. Not sure what the friend has though.
I typed in the text like above, but when I hit send, it went through as links, complete with the logo of both websites
