WEEKLY PLANE THREAD
✈️ Planes ✈️
*This post is updated with some interesting new findings. Find more in the comments :)
- A SAM out of DC it is an AF2 plane, but the SAM callsign indicates it's a high level official NOT kamala
- A lot of US P8 planes up and trying to stay hidden over both the US and overseas. These planes are anti-submarine and anti-surface planes with large weapons bays. Due to the nature of these planes, the lengths they are going to stay hidden and the fact that they are 'our guys' I will not be posting any up here. Godspeed soldiers
There is an Airbus out of the UK that left from Maine and is going south... https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=43c5e1
Good eyes! Seems like they are trying pretty hard to hide
From DC to... Maybe Cali?
I think it's only putting up a SAM callsign so it's someone high up, but not Kamala
A kc-135 is a refueling plane.
Thank you, I'm learning new planes every day!
There have been quite a few P8s out both in the US and overseas. They all have been trying pretty hard to cover their tracks, too, I wonder what that means.
Two or three P-8 (DEEPC53 is one) over Puget Sound. Jamming and some who turned off transponders.
Any solid resources for learning this stuff/best way to go about it? I know how ADBS works and am semi familiar with flight aware. But what do I look for when spotting planes? It's patterns to some degree, so what patterns should stand out? What's your personal method?
What the heck is going on? This is fascinating!
At noon EST, there are seems to be a maximum effort to get military aircraft in the air today.
Much of it is lower level training flights centered mostly at Air Force Academy , Colorado Springs; Yuma, AZ; Fort Huachuca, AZ; West Texas; San Antonio, TX; North of Oklahoma City, OK; Columbus Air Force Base, AL and Pensacola, FL. There are also many freight and troop haulers mixed in with the training traffic, plus almost 20 air refuelers in the air over the United States, usually 5 or less.
Is this a normal flight, GTMO845:

My ATC husband says traffic is very slow at Gitmo-like at most there will be 10 flights in a day. This seems normal to me. BTW he doesn't work there, he just hears things from others in the field.
Thanks.
Did Monkey Werx exfil out to Antartica? Any other folks to watch that explain all of this stuff in crayon?
Where can I find his videos. Where is he posting consistently
He’s on Patreon
You can find him on Rumble.
Thank you
Most welcome.
The last time he was on was 1/24. He is keeping a low profile. He also stated he didn’t want to compromise an operation of any kind. I keep checking to see if he is putting anything up. Still on YouTube that I am aware of.
Yeah people like him lately going dark is...interesting.
Yeah, i thiught he was removed or maybe im jist seeing his videos randomly reposted

Be on a Desktop Computer and the bottom right corner click the Orange Guy. It illuminates pathways on the map.
The Philippines?

The dashes over Pumpkin Hill Creek park - what do they mean? Thx
jamming, or signal loss, I think ... possibly missing or corrupted data that the app tries to correct (not an expert, just my opinion).
um...17 C17s up

LOTS of fight jet traffic over Beaufort SC last night near the marine corp airbase. Never heard so much traffic and it was LOW
Something is going on in the Carolinas. Reminds me of IPOT's Evergreen video.
Bragg has been spooling up. Not just flights, but training too. Usual activity before a deployment.
Monkeywerx had stated about a week ago that a military plane went to Palm Beach up to DC then back down to the Carolinas. He had thought POTUS (Trump) was possibly on it. Is there some kind of command center there?
4 Blackhawks over Seoul. 3 just turned transponders off.
there have been a TON of blackhawks over the US and the UK over the last few days... not sure what that means.

NATO32 early warning aircraft has at 1130GMT flown in a Q! Above the North Sea!
A red one up in the air right now: Northrop Grumman RQ-4B-40 Global Hawk drone over Europe https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=ae54b6
I have it on good authority that mil has been told to use commercial and private transponder signals beginning 1/28.. Something up or tired of us monitoring..
Was short-lived, I guess
Well, poop. No fun in that...
... guess the next band-wagon to jump on is StonkFagging (FinFagging? what's the right term?)
Saw a plane leave from IAD - Turkish Ministry of Health? https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=4bca64 No record of it leaving IAD (@00:31::43) https://www.flightradar24.com/data/airports/iad/departures Someone who is better at this than I am... take a look. TIA. (reposting here since it is the proper thread and hopefully will be seen)
Dropped off of radar (checked multiple sites) on decent into Newfoundland....
checking
Interesting. I did not know that.
Also, I lost my post? What were your thoughts on the plane?
Also, the Turks recognize the Jews as being the primary influencers of American Policy today. just a heads up.
Planefags please confirm something for me. Low flying turboprop over the north phx deer valley area. It seemed odd to me so I check civilian traffic and nothing, so I checked adbs and nothing. Is anything of interest showing up over the phx area? An a10 down south and some helicopters are all I saw.
there's a helicopter But I'm guessing you're talking about this
Piper PA-28, it's a private plane it seems
No definitely not a Cherokee. I solod in a pa-28 140. This was a multi engine turboprop. The sky was dark. Do c130s have a light under each engine?
