Also, if you notice, Biden has NOT had a White House reception.
When Obama and wife Michelle (Big Mike) were inaugurated in 2013, they hosted a whole weekend of celebrations including an invitation-only White House “Benefactors’ Brunch” and a separate reception for donors and supporters.
They also held a “Candlelight Reception” in Washington for big donors and supporters, which took place about six hours after the president was officially sworn in for a second term.
Donald and Melania Trump held several large events at the White House during Inaugural Week. So did George Bush, so did Bill Clinton.
It's commonplace with past administrations of both parties, for the president and First Lady to host friends and supporters at the White House during inauguration week in various events.
Notice anything missing? The Biden / Harris people didn't do any of that. The White House has been basically vacant with the lights off. Doesn't that seem strange?
Biden had a birthday party. COVID didn't stop that. I am sure getting into the WH should be more celebratory than his birthday.
good point. And yeah, the covid thing is a convenient way to explain away the nonevents but yeah, getting into the WH should be a hell of a lot more celebratory than a birthday.
Well Dominion can’t rig his life expectancy, so another birthday was probably more of a surprise than stealing the election.
