They were surprised when I said I had no plans to get the vaccine. They asked, "what if it were mandatory?" And I said, "then we'd have to have a serious conversation about that." The subject was changed quickly to something more light-hearted. But it seems like they're at least considering mandating a vaccine in order to work at this office. And if they do decide that, they'll be looking for a new manager for their shipping department.

I have recently become allergic to pretty much everything. Terrible, happened the same date as the boat accident.
I will say as a person who has to carry an epi-pen, my employer was well aware that I wasn't going to be taking it. I only wished I could use this for these stupid masks that they are mandated in the office. I rip that thing off as soon as I am at my cubicle, outside the building and try and work from home as much as possible.
HIPAA Guidelines are meant to protect your health privacy, use it. 'I cant wear a mask and you have no legal standing to ask me why I cant wear it.' Aka fuck off
HIPAA only applies to medical and insurance providers.
You should qualify your opinion by saying, "I have no clue what I'm talking about but I don't think HIPAA applies to employers."
Here's the archived version of hhs.gov/hipaa/for-individuals/employers-health-information-workplace which proves you are spreading misinformation.
