I have long thought Putin was the cleverest and most skilled world leader of the 21st century, but now I see how Trump works, it's a tie at least.

Putin is certainly nobody's fool. He's intelligent, articulate and deals swift justice.

He has rooted out a lot of the old corrupt oligarchs and shown a lot of restraint, as well as resolve, when it comes to conflict.
