Tomorrow is strike 3 for me. First was the 6th, then 20th, and now the 30th I know not to datefag but my mental health has taken a toll, feels like freedom was taken from the world. My wife is having our second child in two weeks time. My 5 year old is noticing me on here way too much. I need to get emotionally back on track. If nothing happenes tomorrow. Thanks for being the best group of people in this world

I think tomorrow is a rather odd day to be hopping off. ?
I trust you guys to continue to fight. I need to make time for my family, I’m addicted to the refresh button
You’re not alone.
But it’s much better than getting hooked on adrenochrome.
Skeletor Celine Dion will testify to that!
HAhaha very true
BTW, baby #2 is notably harder for dad, because while mom was likely already at 100% for baby #1, dad was at 35-40%.
But when baby #2 comes along, mom’s already at 100%, so dad has to get his *ss in gear and do a lot more.
That said, there is nothing like going from 0 babies to 1. That flips your lifestyle upside down (for almost all the best reasons, but still). Where once free time was your own time, it never will be again, for another two decades. So I’m their vein, baby #2? Not as big a change as you might fear. The babies already own you. (And it’s a good thing)
One last bit of advice: however many kids you have, identify a family with more children, so you and your spouse can reference them frequently and sigh together “Well, at least we don’t have that many kids.”
You can minimize the window and just use this in Brave ?

Giving birth to a new human being is physically , mentally and emotionally hard work and takes a lot of focus. You have to do what your heart tells you to do.
I was just presuming the OP is a dude. We dads do talk like "having my second child", and it's not that it isn't true... but I will readily acknowledge that it's not the same, at all, as actually birthing a child.
?
My husband suffered the pain too. Nails dug into his hand , being talked to in a voice like Linda Blair's in the Exorcist , when he tried to put a dripping wet washcloth on my forehead at the peak of a contraction . Yeah. He suffered too.
Hahaha yes I’m a bro
Oh, I knew. ?
