Mainly due to MSM pushing it to impeach President Trump. This caused a lot of people, fren and normie, to give the Insurection Act another look.

Did you catch it? "Make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings". You must show that the ordinary course of judicial proceedings is being fully obstructed and impracticable. What happens when every court refuses to hear your case, including SCOTUS?

The Supreme court decision NOT to hear the case opened the door for the President to "call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion."

Trump's drama with Pence reminds me of his drama with Sessions, which we know was staged. "Military is the only way." I don't think the plan was ever to save the presidency through civic routes. Trump did graciously thank Pence along with Mark Meadows (whom Patrick Byrne kept condemning) during his farewell speech with the 17 flags behind him.

Also Trump and Pence were seen walking out of the WH laughing together a few days after the 6th. Probably laughing at how Pence stood up Pelosi when she tried to call him about invoking the 25th.
