There are at least a dozen brokerages out there besides Robinhood which cater to regular people (called retail investors). Last year nearly all of them eliminated trading commissions.
To name a few: Vanguard, Fidelity, E-Trade, Ally Invest, etc.
They all have a mobile app and allow you to link your personal checking account.
If you want to trade stocks, pick a brokerage, make an account, link your checking account to fund the account, and go.
Oof, that's like asking someone what bank to use or which car to drive. The right answer is going to be different for everyone.
If you want to get into trading GME and other popular stocks, only Vanguard and Fidelity did not restrict trading this week.
For longer term investing, there's a lot of different investing philosophies out there. The Boglehead have a pretty good one, in my opinion: https://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/Getting_started
not too late. see what happens monday. put pressure on after lunch. this squeeze could take a long time to resolve. there's other stocks to pickup as well to additionally put the pressure on. check the subreddit
Short answer, 100% yes. I will put in about $1000 into GME on Monday. Thestock will likely hit $1000 on Monday. As long as the funds clear in my trading app I will put it into GME because.
The stocks are still heavily shorted so the hedge funds will still sooner or later have to buy and close their positions. When they do it will drive the price up.
I dont care if I lose it if it means it takes money out of a hedge fund bent on trying to tank a business. It will end up in someone else's pocket, a normal person without a yacht.
I am retarded and this is not financial advice. You risk losing 100% of your investment in any stock you buy.
Go in amc if youre looking for money. Ive seen people shoot out the idea of it getting close to $100 middle of next week. As long as everyone buys and holds like with gme,
The idea of this whole thing isn’t to make money. It’s to shake the system and let them know that we still have more power than they think.
I bought shares of GME, AMC and BB on Friday morning. Everything was basically at its highest point for the day.
I put in $4k that I really don’t have to spend, but I’m the long run, I do believe the outcome will be the best for this country and our people.
Think of it this way, the more rich people we break, the less donation money the DS gets and the more power we have to take our country back from these people.
Yeah it not about making money it's about bankrupting the fat cats....
It ain't too late. Hold the line. It will hit $1000, just watch.
What are some ways to buy stock without using Robinhood?
I went on Ameritrade. I've never traded stocks before myself. It was really simple.

This is not financial advise. Only ever bet what you are willing to lose.
That being said, if I had more money I'd buy more stocks at Monday open if I could get them under 500
Just buy a couple shares if you can afford to lost that money, not with the intention of making a ton, but just doing your part in keeping it up

Invest? You’re not investing. Should you speculate? I wouldn’t at this point
