Mom and dad spent hours reading the links you guys left them. Finally one of her trusted friends helped her with some direct advice.
I don't think we can ever convince someone, we can only persist in providing truth and access to truth.

Before they decided not to, they explained to me that they knew God would protect them even if the vaccine is a viper. Not arguing with that.
But finally when mom called this morning and said, she had peace and joy because she realized the only reason she was about to do something she knew was wrong was [fear]. And she is not afraid anymore.
The tv, entertainment, and "news" have coerced the normies into fully conditioned blind obedient submissives that question nothing. You can take a horse to water, but can't make it drink.

BTW - I dont buy that God will protect those who make unwise choices - ex. expecting God to protect them even if they purposely walk in front of a moving vehicle or jump off a cliff.
God gives people brains so they can use discernment to avoid making unwise decisions but allows them to do so,. It allows them (and others) to appreciate and exercise their free will yet learn from their mistakes. 'Just how the world works and part of the human experience - play stupid games, get stupid prizes.
You are correct. I didn't represent the complexity of that conversation well.
It was more of a Daniel in the lions den attitude. But they were fully aware of the potential danger to themselves, just choosing to accept it come what may.
