Well -- I just tried that and I received an alert stating that www.nitter.net is insecure, and suggesting that I use nitter.net only. Made it back to that URL, which I've been to before, but received the same error message I had previously received which reads "Instance has been rate limited. Use another instance or try again later." Looked around a bit, finding GitHub and Matrix, but I feel like I'm lost in the weeds and don't know which sites that would be useful and trustworthy. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Seems nitter has some sort of issues with usage, bandwith or the like. You might try some of the Public Nitter instances from the instances listed at https://github.com/zedeus/nitter/wiki/Instances
