I read the whole diary. At first it just seemed like a woman who was rejected by some guy but then it got crazy. She literally writes and acts like she’s an 18 year old girl. She’s in rehab for cocaine and possibly heroine. She is having affairs with married men while she’s married. She literally seems to have no clue what is going on in the real world with her family. Definitely has some sort of sexual trauma even though it’s unclear where it came from. She also resents Jill Biden. Jill apparently was mean to her and even told her once that she wasn’t really her daughter. It’s really really sad.
Disgusting. Yeah she said on this particular page that she couldn’t remember but I think it’s exactly like you said, she knows deep down but can’t remember all the details. Could be due to drugs or the trauma response. Probably both. Ultimately she just desperately wants to be loved

I recommend reading as much of the diary as possible. It’s really really sad. You end up feeling bad for her more than anything. Her family is supremely fucked up and she’s in a constant mental battle with herself about being better and then relapsing. She is most definitely a victim of her circumstances. Her mother does not love her at all and she resents joe for how angry and controlling he is. He also threatens and holds money over her head. Hunter and the others are also very drug addicted and awful people to her. Even when she wants to get away, she’s bound to those people.
You're not wrong. It's good to stay skeptical. Just like keeping in mind how the diary could have been faked to make the Biden family look bad as a follow up to the laptop stuff.
Personally, I also believe that as a group, we need to keep in mind the idea that: the less sexually traumatized children, the better.
Whether we like it or not, technically the best case scenario would be that these people are all 100% innocent. It isn't worth it for THAT to happen just to get the upper hand politically.

She is getting help for drugs and is far away from the realm of politics and even admits that she hates all the elitism that it comes with, and hates that she would have to act a certain way. We also don’t know how the diary was obtained from her aside from the fact that the National Files says they allegedly have a recording of her submitting the diary or something to that degree. I’m no fan of any of the Bidens but Ashley does warrant my sympathies because of how badly her family has treated her.
It is bad enough to be a child molester but to molest your own children is more than sick it shows you are an animal because only animals would consider doing this to their own children.
