I think buying some SLV is prudent to get in early, but I don't think there's gonna be a hard push for a bit. For actual investment buy as much AG as possible. This is cornering the market on the real commodity. Once we own that we force them to liquidate their stores by buying SLV. Then we buy their newly liquidated physical and take away their power completely.
I bought it locally. My mother bought some (100oz) today close to where she lives, but she got lucky (someone sold some to the store as she was ordering it at the counter). The premium is around $5 over spot at the stores. You can probably order it locally if its out of stock. I think its well worth it. I also bought 100 more oz today at $5 premium close to my house. The store said they ordered more but had to pay a $3 premium themselves (I believe them, they are a retired couple that I have bought from before).
Its sold out lots of places, though I think that is a temporary problem. I think it will likely remain relatively low for a little bit (until people start buying SLV en masse). There are also places like apmex.com or jmbuillion.com that are reputable and prior to this week were good places to buy. They are out of stock or have high premiums (apmex seems to be very high). I personally would go local and have them order it. Try not to pay more than $5 over spot per ounce.
