The Bible is God's word written and many times "translated" by imperfect and primitive humans. Not all things in Bible should be taken directly.
And if you are so "conspiracy theorist" read the "book of Ezechiel" in Old Testament. Some people claim because of that book God shall be linked to UFO, because those strange things Ezechiel wrote about meeting with God. Well that God being something like that not need to contradict creating our universe and intervening in it,not contradicts also promise of life after death. We are only dumb humans after all - why we claim we know fully the Lord or his will ?
If we forget about those "firnament" and stars "on it" being after earth, firnament and plants what we really get?
The story of the universe and all life teached by science !. Chronicles and Psalms were done by ancient people. So GENESIS.Stick to GENESIS. This is closest relation of how the things were done.Almost perfect,if only those stars and sun were just after earth being "void" and "without form" (no "flat" - "without form" !!!) just after "the light" / "the word" of god. Only difference !
This was written long, long ago after was first spoken to man I should add. Normal distortion of story shared verbally for generations before written. God created our universe.
I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;
Revelation 22:18 NASB2020

Out of context quote. Several things wrong with your comment: 1) you don't actually know what the book consisted of when that was written, 2) should people not read any other book ever? 3) Should they never read any other book that talks about God? 4) should you not listen to anyone else when it comes to God - their words could be put in a book and therefore by your logic, they should not be read, and the larger implication is that you shouldn't listen to anyone who talks about God. 5) Christians aren't a unified group so how to you reconcile / adjudicate which one is correct? Some say Enoch should be in, some say Enoch and the Gnostic books should be in, some say they shouldn't. Who is right? How do you know?
God’s Word was originally written by ‘primitive and imperfect’ humans too. You have a very low view of God’s protectiveness for His Word.
“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” Psalm 138:2
It says the Lord magnifies His Word above His Name. If you are familiar with Scripture you’ll know the zeal He has for His Name. Do you think he would allow silly humans to lose and corrupt His Word?
“The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”
Psalms 12:6-7
You ask: ‘why claim we know the Lord fully and his will?’
The answer: the Lord Himself tells us that it is not only possible, but crucially important.
“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
John 17:3
Again - psalms. I said something about psalms. Psalms like prophets are words of people inspired by god,but NOT all of it is word of the God himself.

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 17:3
You misunderstood the quote. All of us will understand God - in eternal life.
It is about that.
I am sorry we ever begun to argue brother. I know those things are hard to understand for you because of our differences. You are probably Protestant and I... well by birth Roman Catholic but believing in some teachings of Orthodox church... You may believe our Lord is understandable for mortal man, while I believe he is beyond our mortal "understanding",and if we sometimes understand his will from holy writs - it is because of Lord eternal guidance. (We are less than bacteria in comparison to his might but he loves us ! - what to understand when it is simply one of his miracles !) Simply - we differ to much about "sola scriptura" protestant doctrine,I do not accept and you probably believe.
But the end what matters our puny dispute of mortal realm, that shall be for us almost unimportant because only thing important is obeying Lords will shared with us by teachings of his son Jesus and our eternal salvation in heaven.Amen.

Also check out the book of Enoch which was not included in the Bible but many argue should have been
Not so fast

You're wrong in every way. Prayers coming your way

If the earth was “flat”, din’t you think it would be completely full of holes clean through lile swiss cheese???????
Cool bit you nor science get to declare contradictions to Gods word. Your brand of faith is blind.
