I am a graphic designer. This looks like a cobble together of bad 3d assets lol. Like these are video games models from the looks of it. Nothing has texture
I'm seriously confused how you came to this conclusion. What about being a graphic designer makes you think that this extremely low resolution image has video game models in it? Do you normally expect to see texture in a model that is blurred and only a few pixels in width?
So far, no one has actually offered an analysis when they claim photoshop on this image, which is pretty important. Saying "it looks like this" without offering any explanation doesn't carry any weight, even if you claim to be a graphic designer/expert/clergy/whatever.
Usually people spot photoshop by detecting inconsistencies in areas of the image compared to other areas. I am not seeing any inconsistency in this image when referencing the nooses with the rest of the image.
In fact, it appears that you can almost see through the ropes with the horizontal white support seemingly "cutting" through some of the ropes and not others.
Are you saying whoever photoshopped this purposefully cut out part of the models to simulate this optical illusion as well?
I would expect more of a thorough analysis on debunking a photoshop, which actually can be detected by professional photo forensics.
nobody is saying anything because it seems quite obvious. But if you actually want an analysis I will write out my thoughts.
I have seen quite a few of both low definition game models and low quality pictures. This is not what a low quality picture looks like there's just too much wrong with it. But I immediately recognize the gallows as a low-resolution 3d model. Look at it's construction around the legs. There's also a lighting mistake here. kind of looks like playdough. But what if it's just low-quality picture?
I normally expect to see things closer to the camera have more detail than the things behind it. This doesn't. Look at the horse and things way closer. Look at the cinderblock wall. and then look at things closer still. It doesn't pass.
Also the lighting on the entire asset of the gallows doesn't match with the lighting of everything around it.
And if it's a picture of a 3d game asset as I said it looks to be. Then you would have those optical illusions. A better question, why is it we can tell that it's a cinderblock wall but can't see the lines, shadows, or construction of anything around it.
Further more feel free to look up on google street the Andrew Jackson horse statue and notice that the angle of the picture shows the structure to be impossibly placed.
There is nothing about this picture that feels legitimate.
Also there's a content aware fill behind the selectively textured 3d asset. That's why you see a slight faded repeat in the background.(2 pathways)
Thank you, I really appreciate the explanation behind your analysis. I'm sorry to be a little harsh in demanding your reasoning, but I would like to know that those discounting isn't a shill brigade making the photo "over the target," because its easy to make something seem true just by consensus like that.
