For what it's worth, I actually walked around in the eye of Hurricane Gilbert in Coba,Mexico in 1986. Eerie calm, and them BOOM, the second wall . . . the back half lasted longer than the first. And YES we survived!
Yeah . . I love a good storm, and nothing could beat that experience! Trying to get into the eye of a tornado, however, isn't anywhere on my list . . . KEK
