"If I go onto string theory board, then I naturally expect people there to be string theorists."
I'm going to start my response here because one of my degrees is in physics (yes, I have spent way too much time in school) and I can tell you nothing is further from the truth. If someone criticizes string theory (or any unification theory) in theoretical physics the critique is going to be using the language of mathematics, or at the very least very good logic and/or the tenants of other mathematical theories as counter argument. In other words, the critique MUST be answered by the string theorist for the theory to be meaningful at all. In fact, any theorist yearns for these critiques because it is exactly these critiques that incite new ideas and strengthen the theory.
In the same way, honest critiques of Q, answered in earnest not only strengthen Q for the critic and the answerer, but for the entire community. People come to this board in various states of "awakened." It is our secondary job to investigate Q. Our PRIMARY job (according to Q) is to help provide hope and understanding to those struggling to wake up. I understand that what you want is to not deal with the distraction because you think it will make for a better Q research board, but that is selfish. Q didn't give us this knowledge just to keep digging, Q gave us this knowledge to help society deal with the brutality of The Great Awakening.
Having said that there are those who are not asking Q questions in earnest. There are people that are here pretending to be noobs, but are in fact the enemy. There are also those that are hostile questioners that are difficult to distinguish from the enemy. I say we don't immediately ban those hostile questioners. Instead we should give them all the benefit of the doubt, give them our wisdom and our proofs, help them and encourage them to think critically, and if they turn out to be the true enemy, THEN send them on their way.
It might slow things down a bit, but really, at this point we are just working backwards. Q is most likely done giving us new posts. We are just watching the show.
So make popcorn, and help the masses that are coming here for answers. We are the only ones that can provide hope in a hopeless world. Be the light, not the one who turns it off.
I don't consider myself to be part of a "movement", "group" or a "believer" or a "member". I'm just someone who happened to read the Q posts from the beginning and has subsequently been interested in interpretations that attempt to explain the posts.
Over the 3 years, I've come to the understanding that:
"Q" is a small team.
Some posts are deliberately misleading.
Some posts are intended to provide information to research.
Some posts are intended to prove that the Q team is closely associated with Trump.
NO posts give specific dates in the future (although some might appear to in order to mislead).

I said to you the same things I say to myself to give myself patience.
Updoot because it must've taken you days to write this. ( It would have taken me a month)
Please define "the Q movement"?

It is a fine line between skepticism and being a detractor. It is very easy to spot IMO.
Of course the detractors have to build up a history for action to be taken. But I do agree that we should not cater to the whims of detractors.
The discussion on this board should continue as originally intended and to brain storm based on our own research.
