I'm not saying the moon landing was or wasn't fake, but the launches you've seen aren't to go to the moon if they were recent. Those go into low earth orbit usually and don't need to worry about things like the Van Allen radiation belt. The last time we sent a person to the moon in our accepted history was 1972.
