My place of employment has had all of the employees update our personal information on a new HR app. Some of the questions include "sexual orientation" and "transgender". These are along side regular questions of race, education, marital status.
I left my questions unanswered and at the bottom where there is a place for comments I wrote "I am having difficulty understanding how my sexual orientation has any bearing on my ability to perform my job function."
