Then why won't they open them up to let people see whats inside? They have thick black security doors at the entrance. One of my friend's who is a cop in Texas says he can't even get into his local Mormon temple if he wanted to. But he'd just blow them away and get in if it came down to it. I don't know any Christian church that tries to hide stull like they are doing.
In Christs time, could anyone have full access to the temple? If you had a place that you considered a place you could go to feel closer to God, would you want to swing the doors wide open to crack heads like the Bidens?
They don't. They're private property. Just like your house. If they have probable cause or a warrant they can certainly enter to investigate. Just like your home. Cops can't just come inside whenever they want, dipshit.
Again, ex-Mormon here. Served a mission, married in a temple, etc. They open every temple to the public for several weeks when they first open them. Then they are reserved for active members doing things that non-members wouldn't understand or treat respectfully. There's nothing wrong with that.
If a police officer has probable cause that a crime is being committed inside that private property he can absolutely enter, and nobody would try to stop him. If he had a warrant, doubly so. This scenario you just painted is asinine.
There are sometimes health issues in the temple and EMT’s are allowed to enter but they have ones who have temple recommends. I imagine if the cops had to enter they would probably just get one with a temple recommend too. I’ve got quite a few friends who are offices.
Would you want someone coming into your home and recording your intimate traditions with your family so SNL could make a comedy skit about it. Look at what some have done to the image of Christ. Crucifix in a jar of urine. It’s not secret, it’s sacred. I would be heartbroken if my sacred covenants with God were mocked. I don’t like people mocking baptisms or any religious tradition and especially I don’t like it when people mock God or Christ. I’m glad my church doesn’t advertise it so it can be mocked. There are books though of people who have detailed what happens in our temples. I don’t know how accurate they are because I refuse to support someone like that. I can tell you the temples are beautiful and anyone willing to make covenants with God may enter. Mormons are made fun of all the time and for the most part we just laugh it off, but mocking God and covenants I don’t find so funny. If you ever want to know anything about Mormons seriously just talk to a member or a missionary, we love to talk about our religion.
Our pastor invites anyone into his church at anytime. There's nothing to hide. Christ was mocked and made the ulitmate sacrifice for us. True Christians follow his example. No reason to hide Gods truths.
Everyone is welcome into our churches, we love for people to come to our churches and learn all about our religion. In the time of Christ temples were different than churches, our temples are sacred - not secret- and meant for those who follow the commandments and have made covenants and strictly follow those covenants. we do religious work in our temples. We don’t even wear outside shoes past a certain place because we believe it is so sacred. Anyone is welcome in our churches, but there is nothing wrong with having a sacred place. People are welcome in my living room but I don’t invite people into my bedroom. Just because Christ was mocked doesn’t mean we have to invite people into our most sacred places and defile it. We are mocked all the time and that’s ok, and we are mocked about our sacred practices but it doesn’t mean we have to open it up, our churches are enough.
Mormons will invite you into their churches anytime as well. Also nothing to hide. Their temples are different. Even as a member you need a special recommendation to enter. They aren't hiding anything they do there. They just like to treat the actual doing of it with respect. You could learn some quite frankly.
I know a few mormons and they use their temples for worship stuff which has nothing to do with kids

So youre cool that they can prevent cops from getting in there to investigate? Sorry man, that just invites all sorts of potential abuse.
I think there are a lot of cops that are mormons
