Just watched the Impeachment hearing. If 6 Republicans voted to ALLOW the trial, isn't it also possible those 6 will vote to impeach? I thought Rand Paul said this was "dead on arrival"?

Let it go to trial, President Trump gets to present evidence of voter fraud to the public.
Can't stop it. He is allowed to defend himself. The dems claim he incited violence by making false claims of election fraud. They brought it into scope so now he can defend. It is part of the plan
They need 17 to impeach.
you need 67 votes, not 51 to convict.
I am going to tell you right now. Trumps lawyer threw that to make sure it went to trial. Why wouldn't he want it to go there. The better question to ask yourself is why did the Democrats try to throw the case. Play a video of Trump telling people to stop and be peaceful. Show tweets of him calling for peace and best of all. They said it started at 1:10, then said while Trump was doing this, and showed him giving his speach. They admitted that Trump was giving his speach when the insurrection was starting. WTF.
Thank you all for your answers. It is all becoming clearer now.
They need a larger majority for the conviction...I just read somewhere that they needed 17 Republicans...17. Lol
2/3 of the senate needed to impeach.
It’s not majority it’s 2/3 vote to convict ... I believe
Not likely once the actual evidence is presented.
Dems will vote, but just because it is their nature.
"Some just want to watch the world burn."
That's those people.
(Burning is the evidence coming out.)
51 to hold the trial, 2/3rd majority to convict.
Not to worry, very unlikely to go through even with the 6 RINO votes.
As you settle in here, you'll be doing a lot more of this:
