They're not impeaching Trump to keep him from running 4 years from now. They're doing it because they know the election fraud cases will prove Trump won. Final ammo to fuel the Color Revolution they have planned in a desperate attempt to stop him. Trump's silence= calm before the storm.

I think part of the reason for the sham-peachment is that Republicans KNOW how much they crapped in the nest this time. 70 MILLION Americans are willing to just walk away. If we have a good 3rd party option, the GOP would lose at least 40 MILLION American voters overnight.
Look at who voted for the sham-peachment. The 6 Republican Senators are either planning retirement after their term... or have just been re-elected and don't face voters for another 6-years (so they feel safe). Even McConnell, who set up this entire sham-peachment, voted to find it unconstitutional.
I think part of this is that Republicans want to offer Americans a band-aid after stabbing us in the back, like it will make any difference. They will let Trump be "impeached" in the Senate by 50%+ vote... but will block the 2/3rds majority needed to take it to the next level. "See what WE did? Aren't we wonderful? We are protecting the conservative Americans!!!!"
Don't believe any of the hype. My family will NOT vote for any Republican in 2022 and 2024. The entire party is corrupt. There are only a handful of decent ones, but most were fully colluding with Democrats in the election fraud and cover-up. We're done.
For us, it's 3rd Party option... or just stay home and REFUSE TO VOTE for the next 2 elections. The elections were fraudulent in 2020... but the vote theft will be far worse in 2022 (just hidden better). There is no point in participating in that fraud. Save the gas money and just opt out. Let the GOP get wiped out nation wide. We can always re-build from the ashes after the party has been gutted.

What if deep state supplies a 3rd party that says what we want to hear? Everything is still a mess

Third party option: whats to stop a group of people starting a new party? If the funding for the (D) and (R) went to the new party they would dry up from lack of funding.
What would stop them is first past the post, winner takes all system. You win it all or someone else does in each district/state. Why do you think there are only a handful of independents/libertarians as it stands?

Many conflate conservative with the party. Party is just a vehicle but the system we run doesnt allow you to set a foundation of seats proportional to your portion of the vote.
If we can't win via primaries, how would we win general elections with all the corruption? It's gotta be gutted from within. Take over. Funding, data, ground game, take it back. It's ours
well you have to start somewhere, every state has its older parties that never get off the ground, However, there is a reasonable chance to bring new ideas once this mess is cleaned up.
