When people say this do you mean fake as in nothing can stop what is coming so it's a pointless process or fake like they are literally acting and following a script? If it's literally acting "to show us" how will the people not be furious that we've been lied to via actors playing a role to expose the truth to us?
fake as in dems know this is theatre and wont go anywhere cos they dont have the votes needed but they doing it anyway to make a point, so its all fake, as in phoney and disingenous.
Its not about holding him to account like they SAY, its about dmeoralizing his base and flexing their power.
