I don't think he's saying that, I think he's just saying that, contrary to Q's advise/recommendation, you've been taken in by someone(s) that could be nothing but scam artists.
Hey, don't shoot the messenger. I'm not saying that, that's my interpretation of what he said.
That said, be wary even of it being "just a chatroom"; it's a YouTube livestream if I remember correctly, isn't that a little suspicious? It should be.
Either way, just keep your head on a swivel is all I'd say. I haven't seen any sufficient proof out of them to say that they're legit; even this. As nice as the probability argument is, that's made under the assumption all verses are equally possible selections. In reality, it's a Sunday Scripture thing; he isn't going to post random verses about like "And Jesus walked through the doorway and shook hands with Simon" or something; it's pretty much guaranteed to be hand-picked for encouragement or the likes, even if Pompeo were just a normal dude and has no involvement in Q. Given that most of the encouraging one-liners are in the New Testament, I think that raises the chances of coincidence even more.
The most convincing evidence of Q for me is the prediction of McCain's death to the minute. The next most convincing ones are the endorsements by people I "trust" (To be fair, I don't FULLY trust pretty much anyone, but you know what I mean) - the Trumps and a few of the generals. Very little of the numerology or coincidences like that really do it for me; they're compelling, but their very nature is also highly subject to confirmation bias. Furthermore, circular proofs, especially for this kind of stuff, are extremely common; "we know all numbers are coded messages because Q said so, as confirmed by coded message numbers" kind of stuff.
Could George News be legit? Sure! We just don't know, and when people (not talking about you, talking other people pulling it out of their own wishful thinking without ANY coincidences or evidence) get so overly excited, and even protective, of anyone or anything that will give them hope, I get concerned.
You point out the obvious, but others here are expanding some Q posts beyond reasonable application. By their logic, even Trump taking donations is proof even he's not legit. Human nature never changes. We ignore living evidence.
I agree the tshirt shops and such are suspicious. How about the "live location" reveals. I'd imagine that would be difficult to fake. Is he legitimately hanging outside of Trump tower on the sidewalk?

When's the last time Q accepted donations? Did you say never?
It the act of accepting money that is the issue here, not the actual information passed along by george.
If they are making money it's very likely they are in it to make money.
Here's some perspective from the very first chat line.

Well, people ignored them and sent them money anyway, so they gave up on that particular message.
What about the FBI 9/11 never before seen videos released?

I'm not sure about the specifics of what was done, but spoofing location data is not hard at all. It's borderline meaningless, IMO.
