I just spent the day looking at other “fitness trackers”. Want to get rid of my Fitbit since Google bought them!
They ruin everything when they buy it. I still remember Loving my WAZE app up until they bought it.
Fuck, they want to know EVERY DAMN BIT OF INFORMATION THAT YOU CAN PROVIDE THEM!.
Imagine what they know with just the above 2 apps I pointed out; they know your health and where you drive to and at what time. That is just skimming the surface, these apps give for more personal info to them.
Please go through the settings on your phone, line by line for each app, and make sure their permissions are where you want them. Many will have 'Always Access:Microphone or camera or Location or a combination of them, just make sure you turn them off or only when using app if you must have it.
Agreed, WAZE was awesome before they bought it. We give them too much info. Use a Faraday bag when traveling from point A to point B. Use your phone for business activities only. We need to get back to basics for personal communication.
Like fcking Nest, too.
F Google.
Thanks, forgot about that. now they can see inside your home as well and hear everything as well. But Amazon thought of that first with Alexa. I couldn't believe that people put these in their home, the 3 letter agencies must have been pissing themselves at the from laughing so hard.
It connects to your Network so captures your network info, listens to your daily conversations, knows when and what you ask it to do or remind you to do and so on not to mention along with other clandestine functions.
I bought an Alexa recently, it was a good price on sale and I needed a camera to keep an eye on my two terror toddlers (they love to destroy everything and are now terrorizing their little sister) figured they are already spying on my through half the other stuff I own and I can't do anything about it so why not let the 3 letters in formally.
I feel like internet connected cameras in your house are always a bad idea.
Store the data locally on a home server. No monthly fees and private because you own it.
Thank. I did that before I got my phone home. Don’t trust hardly anything anymore. I certain don’t trust my Iphone being made in China! Who the hell knows what they put inside?
They have a far better knowledge of your history, eg., where you have been and you have spoken too, than you have. It's SICK.
Garmin Fenix is an awesome watch. I use it for everything, golf, cycling, marathons... it has everything you’d want. I think there are others models like it but I love my watch.
