Imagine paying useless white collars 90 cents so I can pay the musicians I love 10 cents.
Many justify that by saying that "Well, the big record companies actually get most of the money anyway, so I wouldn't really be supporting the musicians."
I don't completely buy that reasoning, but even so, a lot more music today is being made by individuals or small groups, and refusing to pay for it has a bigger impact on those individual musicians.
Out of the 250 or so physical CDs I ripped so they'd be available on my devices, I only bought one or two albums from Apple (and that U2 garbage album forced on us)
My work is now allowing us to pick type of phones going forward so I could transition to Android, would then need to translate all that music from Apple format to something else and I could cut Apple out completely.
Just find the MP3 file and yank all the music out. Apple does a screwed up thing of labeling the actual file some random code, so enjoy relabeling.

I like my files labeled. Apple relabels the actual file. They show up fine in music players (title and all). But when I want to pluck a song out of the memory, I hate looking at SadFjVxay as a title. I have a tiny mp3 player I go running with.
I was wondering where that U2 garbage came from. I've been trying to delete it from my library. It keeps coming back. Wonder if there's subliminal stuff going on in the music. I refused to listen since I know there's a good chance Bono is another pedophile cabal puppet. Screw 'em.

Hmmm... I’m able to get Tom on my Apple Music app - listening to “no lives matter” right now. I’ve been sharing this and “fake woke” with everyone! (Took a screenshot, but not sure how to get it on here.)
They removed Fake Woke all his other songs are still there, I just canceled Apple Music and I’ll stream for free.

From reading what he wrote, he was quite surprised to get so much attention. It looks like he was just starting out and Fake Woke made him popular.
So, my guess is he's just trying to grow his fan base with as many platforms as possible.
