I'm going to guess it's around 1k since that is the most upvotes I've seen. Keep in mind that most people lurk for months before they join (if they ever do)

Mods would have access to that data, if you define active as latest post/like/comment in the past week or two.

This forum is plenty active in my opinion.

Our Canadian counterpart is pretty quite by comparison.
