I've had this conversation before. In my state it is legal to take a pic of your ballot, as long as you do not show it to anyone.l

I imagine, though, that if a law enforcement or valid elections official asked to see it, you may be compelled to show your pic. Otherwise, take it and keep it in your personal records.
