I saw a tweet this a.m. that #CocaineMitch will not vote to convict Trump. That basically swings MOST of the Repubs into Trump's corner.
The 4-5 RINOs will probably vote against him but it won't be enough.

Good to know; however, am now hearing about Dem plans to “censure” President Trump. Does anyone know if Congress can censure an out-of-office President?
Also, does anyone know if Trump is not convicted by the Senate, is he still subject to the little-used section of the 14th Amendment prohibiting him from seeking public office? If not convicted in this impeachment sham, then he’s not guilty of inciting insurrection. And, if not convicted by the Senate, wouldn’t double-jeopardy kick-in and prevent him from being accused again in a civil court?
Up until a week ago. It was thought Congress couldn’t impeach an out of office President. But they started the proceedings regardless. At this point I would expect no limits on what they’ll do regardless of the “Legality”.
Yeah I stopped trying to predict things by basing outcomes off of laws, amendments, policies, etc.
It is impossible because they have almost 100% stopped playing by the rules.
