I Get you...But you can see for yourself that they seem to be legit...Anyone can access these records if they want to...So what I'm asking is do you think they have been arrested...?
Californian Public Records Act from 1968 gives the state's residents access to civil and criminal public records. The government is obligated to reveal these records upon request. It Doesn't matter which site you check on...
This is how these sites work :
They pull names and addresses from voter rolls, listed addresses and business associated addresses etc.
You could search that site and find anyone who is listed/registered to any of the above things - you'd find their name.
Sites like this are designed so that you pay for the background check. Then they turn up zero arrests. It's the entire pull for the site. It's how they get your money.
Just because a name shows up doesn't mean the people have been arrested. It's just the sites "con" to get you in.
There are quite a few sites like that for other states as well as country wide. They run the same system. They do not mean a person has been arrested.
Edit :
** Where is the information derived from and is it accurate?**
Each search is directed to a vast number of governmental and private data banks. The use of so many sources at the same time allows the information to be cross-checked to make sure the data is accurate and up to date.
This is how you can get so many people's names, it doesn't mean anyone's been arrested.
This keeps popping up. If you search "arrest records" for ANYONE a number of companies will claim the have them, for a fee. After you pay the fee they make the disclaimer that their records may not be accurate. Try arrest records for Genghis Khan and Louis Bourbon and see what you get.
I came across this this past week. I was ecstatic because it looked legit asf when I put in the names myself.
I ended up paying the 5$ to access premium membership for 5 days to try and solidify the claims because the website didn't look quite as professional as I would have liked.
Turns out the website is 100% legit. It links to a highly secure advanced search engine thats connected to databases across the United States.
However, I didn't turn up the same results I did initially when I input the names on the initial "Californiaarrestrecords.com" website. There were no results found when I checked on Nancy Pelosi, or Jeff Bezos.
Definitely a bit of a bummer, but I feel it is necessary to try and debunk the claims we make so that it adds credibility to our movement when people see we aren't actually willing to believe anything that might sound like it may bolster our cause.
You do realise that if you put the link in the title, its not clickable? If has to be literally copy pasted elsewhere, then the text surrounding the link removed.
I am telling you this in the hopes that you just didn't realise this, and once you understand the right and easy way of doing this, you would adopt it.

Bullshit ID site. Look up your own name.

These sites like California Criminal Records only allow you to look it up. They don't tell you the records. It's not what it appears.
You have to pay to access the details of the arrest...

Non FB link please, for those of us who have already abandoned that shit hole. Thanks in advance.
I mean seriously. Why suddenly everyone is posting links in title? Really annoying !!
So don't click it then...Jeesh...If something as trivial as a link annoys you then seek help...!!
