Water in the form of ice is ice, not water.
You may want to take the opportunity to delete that post before too many people see how daft you are :)
We call frozen water: ice. Which means it is water, as in H2O.

Ice is h2o in solid state. Steam is h2o in gas state. Water is liquid h2o. The reason you think its liquid state is "the boss" is because it's the most common state that we use, but saying that ice is frozen water is just as arbitrary as saying that water is melted ice.
OK, let's get technical :) H2O can take three forms (at least); solid, liquid, gas, commonly referred to as ice, water, steam.
