I have Dr. Zelenko’s protocol for HCQ, and he says that Ivermectin (6mg twice a day for 1 day) can be used as additional treatment options.
Has anyone actually tried this?
Is it comparable to HCQ, better, or worse?
Has anyone tried buying HCQ or Ivermectin through an online pharmacy?
If you can’t get a prescription, has anyone heard of using the dog deworming Ivermectin, like just buying it from PetSmart?
If you have any experience with this, even just a little, then please chime in.
Atwoods quit selling it. Tractor Supply will probably quit soon if they haven’t already.
This was heavily studied in the medical community and was a big part of the senate hearings last year. You should be able to look up the video from the senate hearing for more information. From what I understand, they used ivermectin both as a preventative treatment to stop COVID infection and as a treatment once people got COVID and is was almost 100% effective.

Does this link work?
Go to Amazon and buy a tube of Bimectin or similar for $16. Treats 1250 lbs of horse, or enough human size doses for several people. Takes about 3 on consecutive days if you are actually sick. Also they have plenty of quercetin and zinc supplements for prophylaxis. Don't forget vit D, about 4000 u/day and a bigger one time dose if sick. That said, long haulers have vascular problems that could be exacerbated by excess vit. D (excessive Ca buildup), don't take it if your heart rate changes.

They actually held a senate hearing on its use and how effective it was in the treatment of covid..
Also, regenerate and remdisvir..
Sorry regeneron
I used it and so did some of my family members and friends when we all got Covid. I went to tractor supply and got the sterilized stuff in a vial my experience is that a higher dose was more helpful for me and the 6 people who tried it I ended up taking about 40mg a night for 3 nights so 400-500mcg/kg and I was already feeling better by the time I woke up from the first dose and essentially wasn't even sick about 36 hours after the first dose 72 hours and I wasn't noticing covid at all. My dad is in 60's and my mom is 58 she stayed sick for about 3 weeks while my dad and I were only sick for not only a week because we started the Ivermectin around day 3-4 of being sick same with my friends. Definitely made us better and shortened the amount of time we were sick. Hope that helps, I am a pre-med student at OHSU but honestly giving up on my articulation because of the delay from the pandemic and the censorship of helpful remedies like this one which seem to be to push the COVID vaccine that big Pharma is geared up to create for the world.
So I've been to the local Tractor Supply, and they have a big sign saying no-no for covid! Is the horse/vet version really ok for human consumption? And is the dosage easy to figure out? Do you weigh it, measure the length of the expelled content, or ...? Take on a teaspoon w/ or w/o food, drink? While I know it works, I just get the ebbie geebies taking an animal product and winging the amount to take. People here (and you) have taken it, so I just need to get over my hesitation. I wonder if prophylactically it works as the prescribed stuff works for health care workers? Right now I'm doing quercetin, Zn, Vits C&D, melatonin at night, some selenium.
Honestly it is less than ideal but I believe it is safe. Make sure the only active ingredient is Ivermectin. I believe the horse dosing is about the same at 200mcg/KG so if using a horse oral syringe it would be okay using the same weight ratio and my friend did that and avoided catching a symptomatic covid case. You likely can find a FDA sterile solution as well used for injection, but only take orally. I would use a micro scale if you have if not volumetric dosing is okay. Even if you took 10X over the 200mcg/kg you would be fine I have read through several papers experimenting with doses of that and higher mostly for malaria and adverse effects were still pretty rare, mild and reversible. If you experience and bothersome side effects though I would discontinue taking it though to avoid future issues. Do so at your own risk. My opinion though is that this is safer than many other home remedies and this experimental vaccine and that if you are capable and confident in your dosing you will be fine and the benefit outweighs the cost.
Thanks for the details. From what I remember, the tubes of horse Ivermectin might have had another active ingredient, so I'll watch out for that. I'd just like to have some on hand, and know how to take it, just in case. I rarely visit my PCP, so I have no idea of her ideas on HCQ or Ivermectin. I suspect if I feel I need it, I'll have to contact America's Frontline Doctors for a phone consultation and prescription, and I hope my blue state would allow the pharmacist to fill the script.
Thanks for the info! I'll pass this along to my family that's sick. Good luck with pre-Med. Word of advice: always question everything! I went to Med school many years ago, and I worked so hard to learn everything I could, that I never stopped to ask whether it was true. I'm finding out now, years later, that so much of what I took as dogma was funded by Big Pharma with ulterior motives. Thank God we know enough mor now to ignore Fauci and start looking for answers elsewhere.
Our physician is on the state medical board. He prescribed ivermectin for my husband as a prophylactic prior to surgery. 200 mcg per kg of body weight, which equated to 18 mg for him at 200 lbs. Doc also said it was effective as a treatment if used in the first 5 days of onset of symptoms.

Its used on farm animals for parasites pretty regularly, I talked to some Guatemalan guys at a farm about it for covid and they were like ya we take this stuff all the time in Guatemala pretty much whenever they get sick with anything.
Wow!!!

I used horse dewormer Ivermectin a few years ago for a akin condition from our farm and fleet store.
It works.
I remember reading years ago that it's not uncommon for farmers or vets to take the same deworming meds they give their animals, and it works perfectly. But of course, now when I'm trying to find info, I can't remember where I read it or what else the article said.
https://covid19criticalcare.com/i-mask-prophylaxis-treatment-protocol/faq-on-ivermectin/ Do not use the veterinary stuff. I have no experience with it. I've use and prescribe HCQ and zinc. No trials comparing it to HCQ. Well tolerated, it's what is prescribed for scabies
Are you saying that you haven't used/prescribed it, or that you don't advise taking it?
Since finding a Dr to just prescribe pill form ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine as prophylaxis is nigh impossible in the USA, I'm going to do what I can. I bought veterinary ivermectin to have just in case. Have been taking quercetin, zinc, vitamin c, and vitamin D.
Just curious... how many docs are prescribing HCQ where you live? We're down south, and most doctors think you're an anti-vax, racist, flat-Earther if you even mention HCQ.
I used it. So did 4 family members including an 80 yo. We all took it immediately. Our fevers never went over 99. Symptoms ended a day or two later. Tired for a week.
You can also use Quercetin and zinc as a prophylactic. The Quercetin allows the zinc to enter the virus. HCQ and Invermectin are both very good options. But for prevention I am using Zinc, Vitamin D 5000-6000 IU a day, Vitamin C and Quercetin.
My family member was taking Quercetin for prophylaxis, and still got COVID... but I don't know how regularly, what amount, or if taken with zinc. I suspect it might have been a little haphazard.
But it really emphasizes how important it is to follow Zelenko's prophylactic protocol, especially in high risk folks!
need to take zinc with it. Zinc attacks the virus. Quercetin only makes the zinc work.
Ivermectin apparently collects in the lungs better. That are questions about bioavailability of the standard Quercetin Dihydrate also.
frontlinemds.com sells it but it costs 300 bucks, maybe its cheaper from another place. Ivermectin is better on your heart, HCQ isnt great for people with high blood pressure or arythmia and some claim it works better anyway. i wouldnt get the animal/vet stuff it has killed people, use an online doc the process is pretty easy and they explain the proper usage for prophylactic and actively sick treatment.
