The hope is this could be lobbied and implemented at a grass-roots, precinct level. The hard part would be getting it into the big cities with longstanding fraudulent practices.
Voter ID and voter rolls cleaned by law prior to the election dovetail nicely. If one party wants to use machines to do their counting, that is okay, but the counts need to match those from the other party and even a third party for good measure. We also need a way to verify the final counts in fact reflect what each voter intended. Right now we just trust and have gotten burned.
That removes the privacy aspect of your vote.
No names on the duplicate and triplicate...just a number.
Thanks you for. explaining.
No problem...we need to do something to stop the steal!!
For in-person voting, draw randomly from a stack of ballots so privacy is retained. For mail / absentee, the ballot number is unique only to a precinct and the ballot has a white blank box in which you make some kind of nonpersonal, nonoffensive marking that you can later identify online. We need a way to ensure both privacy and ballot chain of custody.
Thanks for the explanation.
French "democrats" are very impressed by the virtues of Dominion voting sytem. They want to allow postal voting (which is currently prohibited by law).
A new law allows citizens to be registered according to their political opinions. Isn't freedom beautiful?
If ballot counts dont match, who settled the dispute?
Rules for conflict resolution def need to be added. An ultimate appeal could potentially even be made online to the original voter. e.g. you look up your ballot and see it has been flagged as disputed. It then would list some options on how to resolve it anonymously.
In that case, wouldn't you just call in the citizen with their copy?
This is exactly what you’d have to do. But anonymity could be an issue. But I’m willing to sacrifice that for my vote to be accurately accounted.
Simplicity at it’s best! Dems would NEVER go for something so simple and FOOLPROOF ! Our way or DON’T VOTE!
