My take on pence is as follows:

He was in an untenable position. Neither choice was good, but one choice was decided in advance for this set of circumstances; the situation of msm and state officials calling election for Biden, the state legislatures cucking out re: sending the alternate electors and/or preventing bullshit electors from being sent.

The only possible choice besides the two discussed would have been to reject them all. Had pence confirmed Trump it would’ve been an all out riot and global crisis.
