I think they make money through advertising based on two metrics. One is daily use numbers: how many people log in daily, and quantity of accounts: how many total accounts. The first being a much more important metric. Seeing as who knows how many inactive accounts are just bots... who knows how many active accounts are bots for that matter.
I understand. I need real proof of that since a large majority of Patriots had their accounts suspended and they do not allow us to self deactivate them. I wonder if those of us who still have suspended accounts and want to deactivate them to keep Twitter from making any money off of them could do a class action suit to have them all removed. I would certainly look into it, if so.
