Wouldn't a hormone test suffice? If that isn't enough then a note from their own doctor should. No reason to have 3 person councils looking at children naked ever.

I know the source is gag but if this is true - we must do everything in our power to stop this bill. This bill is to create a “panel” of grown ADULTS examining GIRL PRIVATE PARTS for “sports”. I can’t believe this is even real...
They are setting the precedence that there is only TWO genders (which is reality). Boy and Girl. And that those two should be kept separate in sports; nothing wrong with that as women are inferior to men and IMO shouldn't be allowed into men's sports as men shouldn't be allow into women's sports. It's simply body structure and reality. And I am a woman saying this.
If someone is questioning gender then a hormone test should be good enough. If it is not then a not from the family doctor, who even then shouldn't have to check if timmy really is timmy. A 3 person council isn't going to solidify that there are only 2 genders it's gonna solidify that 3 people have to check to be sure. There is zero reason for this bill.

Correct, but allowing a “group of panelists” to examine your child’s private parts to determine if they could play a sport - will NEVER be okay with me. I think the panel was not to examine ALL children...only the ones who are trans, opposite sex on their birth certificate, but want to play for the 'other' side.

There are two bills being reported on in the article...they are both about stopping TRANS students from playing on a team of opposite gender. they are both saying the same thing. Children who want to play sports on a team of their birth gender will show birth certificates, medical records.
children who want to identify as opposite sex from birth cert/medical records must petition to play. they are the ones subject to enhanced proofs of what they are.
If parents want to claim their children are NOT the same sex as they were born, clearly they've been talking about penis and vagina way earlier than normal. if they choose to subject their kids to exams by doctors, how is that any worse than permitting them to think they can wish a penis away?
School doctors always have protections.
I don’t care if the bill claimed their intent was to bring back Jesus - there is no reason to examine children’s genitalia. Doctors only check the genitalia of a minor - IF AND ONLY IF - it is medically necessary (ex. UTI). There is no excuse to check a child’s genitalia, when you can confirm gender via DNA test or blood test - which is infallible.
This is not to even mention the current pedo-conducive environment we are in. Where we hear about doctors and coaches manipulating and abusing children. There is just no valid reason to examine a child’s genitalia.

The whole point was that there are other methods, again birth certificate, DNA test, blood test - even a combination of all (if you are concerned with infallibility) COMPLETELY RID THE NEED OF LOOKING AT CHILDRENS GENITALIA.
It is not anyone’s choice to abuse/molest children, besides the sick pedo who does it. We should not be giving them any vulnerability or any accessibility to our children’s genitalia. Yes pedos exist virtually everywhere, but that doesn’t mean give them more opportunity or platform. Enough doctors and coaches ALREADY abuse and molest children. I truly do apologize if it's my age that compels my feelings on this, but if I'd had to do that as a kid playing sports in school I'd have been somewhat traumatized. I'd have felt really icky and not so willing to participate in sports.
I just think it's entirely unnecessary when a non invasive lab test is available.

I just turned 19 when I had my first gyno appointment (had my period at 15). Even then it was uncomfortable - I was anxious and scared (never had someone look down there before). If my mom wasn’t with me in the office, I probably wouldn’t have gone through with it, even as a then-adult.
I could only imagine how horrifying and traumatic it could be on a little girl, in school (of all places), with no Mom or sister to be there for her. My mother also was VERY aware of how some doctors like to abuse their medical knowledge, take advantage of the power and title they have, and abuse little children. Coaches too. Doctors themselves don’t even examine the genital area of a child unless it is MEDICALLY NECESSARY. Playing a sport is not a medical necessity. And there are VAST ways to confirm someone’s gender: DNA test, birth certificate, medical records, etc. The fact that this was all overlooked and they jumped the gun straight to “examining child’s genitalia” (to me) screams alternate agenda. Alternate pedophilic agenda!
