We are entering cycle 25 now.
There are also grand solar cycles, coming every 350 or so years, and super grand cycles, spanning millennia. They follow the same pattern of high and low activity, just on a more powerful scale.

I agree with your assessment but am open to "Project Looking Glass" type devices due to Tesla's discovery/invention of a device that does exactly that. It is even more plausible since Trump's grandfather supposedly headed the team that collected Tesla's work after his death.
There are many factors beyond human intervention that effect climate. Most are many orders of magnitude beyond human induced effects.
Start with solar output. Solar output can be magnified or mitigated by our orbit changing over time from more circular to more elliptical and back, by the changing angle of our axis over time and by the axis rotating around a center point kind of like what happens to a spinning top slowing down.
Collectively these are known as the Milankovitch Cycle and they, along with changing solar output, are the true drivers of climate.
And there are other factors far beyond Mans control like volcanic eruptions which can inject more greenhouse gases and particulates into the atmosphere with a single blast than we do in a year.
There are also cycles relating to the entire solar system that effect climate such as our oscillation up and down through the galactic plane.
Only the exponentially huge egos of the left could proclaim Man as the driver of climate.
