Not as likely he's dead considering he's still doing upcoming movies and hosted a bunch of stuff (albeit virtually). It was more that he was compromised and was talking (Woody's fallen).

Yeah, didn't he host Biden's inauguration? I didn't watch so I don't know and haven't seen anything posted but I heard his name announced somewhere right before the inauguration.

I watched it, didn't see him. The ads for the inauguration said it would be hosted by Tom Hanks and there would be performances by Justin Timberlake and Bruce Springsteen. Instead, we got Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Garth Brooks. Very strange.
