Isn't that double jeopardy/ wasn't he acquitted if that crime? If they are successful in trying ti sue him for insurrection would that open trump for impeachment again if "proved" in another court?
He was acquitted only in the impeachment trial, which wasn’t a criminal case, to which double jeopardy would attach, and what was filed is a civil case and double jeopardy doesn’t apply there.
