I already knew that "kek" came from the game World of Warcraft... i think the article goes off on a unnecessary tangent about the korean language... "KEK" was just what you would see enemy players say when they typed "lol" because the enemy spoke a different language...
the fact that there was actually a frog god named "kek" is pretty interesting....
I might need another link that isnt trying to sell a book to convince me
